Thai Route Guide is an independent travel-information website about Thailand. It is owned and operated by IMPADX, a company based in Vinh, Nghệ An, Vietnam. The site exists to answer one practical question for travellers: how do I get from here to there, and which option suits me?
What we publish
- Route guides that compare every realistic way to travel between two places: train, bus, minivan, flight, ferry, taxi or private transfer, with typical times, approximate prices, departure points and honest pros and cons.
- Airport, station, bus-terminal and pier guides that explain what to expect on arrival and how to move on.
- Destination guides focused on the practical side of a city or island: how to arrive, how to get around and where to base yourself.
- Itineraries with the transport legs already worked out.
- Where-to-stay guides that describe neighbourhoods and what each one suits.
- Travel tips on money, SIM cards, apps, etiquette and seasons.
Every guide is published in six languages: English, Vietnamese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Each translation is a real, complete article, not an automatic machine translation produced on the fly.
How we work
We inform; you decide. Our articles explain the options and link to the websites where you can see details, compare and book: the operator's own site where one exists, and well-known platforms such as 12Go, Agoda, Booking.com, Klook or GetYourGuide where that is useful. Links to 12Go are partner links: if you book there, 12Go may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. All other links are plain links. We do not sell tickets, accommodation or tours, and we do not handle bookings on anyone's behalf.
We check sources. Before publishing, we read the official pages of the operators, airports and attractions involved. Each guide ends with a list of the sources we consulted and the date we checked them. Where we could not verify something, we say so rather than present it as fact.
We date our work. Every article shows the date of its last substantive update. Timetables, fares and rules in Thailand change often, so please treat our figures as a starting point and confirm with the operator before you travel.
We do not pretend. We do not publish fake reviews, invented visitor numbers, "official partner" badges or personal anecdotes we cannot back up. Photographs are credited to their authors and used under their licences.
What we are not
Thai Route Guide is not a travel agency, a ticket seller or a booking service. We are not affiliated with any transport operator, airport, hotel or booking platform. The operator address shown on this site is in Vietnam; we do not have an office in Thailand.
Corrections and feedback
If you find an error, an out-of-date timetable or a broken link, please tell us. Corrections are the most useful message we receive.
